Our Return Policy

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with any new product purchase, you may return it for a refund, store-credit, or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date. If your purchase was eligible for free shipping, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your credit or refund.

If you believe you've received a defective product, please contact us at Orders@ward-brodt.com within 30 days of the purchase date. If we determine the unit failed under warranty within 30 days of purchase, we will cover shipping costs within the US to replace the unit for you. If past 30 days, feel free to contact us and we can determine if your product is still under warranty. If so, we will get you in touch with the manufacture for more details.

Used instruments are guaranteed to be in good playing condition for up to 45 days from date of purchase, and will be repaired or replaced at Ward-Brodt's discretion. This excludes items which were abused or misused.

While we want you to be completely happy with your purchase, there are certain items that cannot be returned for very specific reasons. These items include:
-Reeds (unless sealed in original box)
-Opened DVD’s, CD’s, and software – may be exchanged only if defective
-Personal items e.g earphones, harmonicas, instrument mouthpieces
-Clearance items, closeouts, and Consignments
-Special Orders

Items must be returned in the condition they were received, including all accessories, documentation, and packaging materials. If there is no receipt of purchase with the returned merchandise, a store credit will be issued.

Returned product received more than 30 days after invoice will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns past 30 days are at the discretion of Ward-Brodt Music. No returns will be allowed after 90 days from date of purchase.

Special Orders

Items that do not appear on our website but that we normally carry are not considered special orders. They will, however, need to be ordered by email, mail or telephone.

Ward-Brodt Music will special order almost any product carried by our manufacturers. To order non-stock, special order items, a pre-payment in full is required for all accessories and print. A 30% deposit down is required for all serialized products. Pre-payments and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please note: All custom orders for non-standard product require a full pre-payment regardless or the product or price. Custom orders cannot be canceled and are non-returnable.

Cancellations: Cancelled special orders and layaways are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Items with manufacture defects will be handled through the manufactures warranty procedure.
