The Realist Copperhead Pickups are by David Gage & NS Design. The Copperhead rests between the bridge feet and the instrument top, which puts it exactly where the sound is transferred from the strings to the sound board. The result is a rich, powerful response, both pizzicato and bowed. Its mounting hardware is extremely compact and with such a high output gain it requires no external preamp. The copper foil sandwich construction provides total shielding to eliminate hum from light fixtures and other electrical or radio interference.
