UPS is our preferred method of shipping for packages which need tracking - such as packages worth more than $30 or items which are not easily replaceable!
Why? We are able to track shipments, whereas 1st class or priority mail cannot be traced once it leaves the store.
Here are some UPS highlights with general price ranges:
Regular UPS (Ground Service)
- 3-5 Business Days (sometimes less in WI and bordering states)
- Charges are based on weight of package.
- Rates start at around $8-9.00 for first pound (this includes Ward-Brodt's handling fee). Rates rise for each additional pound.
- UPS insures the first $100 worth of shipment. Rates increase with additional insurance
2nd Day Air (Blue Label)
- Blue Label shipping guarantees 2-day delivery in 48 states Monday-Friday only. (a package shipped on Monday will be guaranteed to arrive on Wednesday).
- Rates start at $20.00 for first pound (including WB handling fee). Rates rise for each additional pound and vary per destination.
- An average range for most packages we ship Blue Label is $20-30.
Next Day Air (Red Label)
- Red label (overnight) shipping guarantees next day delivery in 48 states Monday-Friday only. (a package shipped on Monday will arrive Tuesday).
- Rates start at approx. $30 for first pound (including WB handling fee). Rates rise for each additional pound and vary per destination.
- An average range for most packages we ship Red Label is $40-70.
USPS Priority Mail:
We also offer USPS Priority mail to our online customers. Keep in mind that they do not provide insurance for your orders. UPS does not ship to PO Boxes, so this is an alternative for our online shoppers. As far as shipping charges go, USPS is usually a better deal up to a certain weight, where UPS Ground usually becomes a less expensive method to go.
Please allow up to 24 business hours for us to process your online order. We do offer RUSH processing option for $4 additional. This option is available when view items in your shopping cart.
We ship products Monday-Friday via UPS and USPS. Orders placed before
11:00am Central Standard Time will likely go out the same day.

We offer FREE delivery to participating schools, which our School Services Representatives visit on a weekly basis. Click here to find your school and your school's representative.
