The BFH-1460 French Horn Kruspe Double horn offers a resistance that is balanced combined with a big open bell, which gives the horn an evenness in color and characteristic dark tone. The yellow brass bell plays with a vibrant sound that is even in all registers with good projection and clarity.

The mechanical linkages have a very secure feel with a firm landing when engaged. Mechanical linkage is less likely than strings to fail at an inopportune moment, though proper oiling and maintenance are required.
