Bring your questions, leave with answers.

Do you have questions about buying, renting, or repairing a musical instrument? Yes? Here’s where you should start.

Buy an Instrument

  • How can you help me make the right instrument choice?
    • If you’re puzzled about which kind of woodwind you want, or you want advice on a brand of keyboard, come see us at our Fitchburg store. You’ll be able to touch, pick up, and most importantly, play all of our instruments so you’re able to make the right choice.
  • Do you deliver?
    • Yes, we do. If you’re representing one of our participating schools, delivery is free.

Rent an Instrument

  • Are rentals limited to a certain selection of instruments?
    • We have a wide selection of instruments, so you can feel confident that you’ll find what you need.
  • How much will it cost to repair my rental?
    • Nothing. Repairs due to reasonable wear and tear are included in your rental agreement..
  • Can I return my rental?
    • Our agreements are month-to-month, so you can return your instrument at any time. If you’d like to try a different instrument, we’ll do an immediate in-store swap. If you have questions about returning or exchanging a rental, get in touch with us.

Repair Your Instrument

  • How long does it take to repair an instrument?
    • Our technicians’ goal is to get your instrument back in a week or less (for most repairs). If you need a faster turnaround on a repair, check with your technician about expedited service.
  • I’d like to find a used instrument. Can you teach me what to look for in a used instrument?
    • Sure thing. If you’d like to give a used instrument a loving home, we’re happy to teach you what to look for and what to avoid. If you’d like to get your hands on a used instrument, you can find a list of instruments that we’ve already inspected and restored online or at our Madison store location.
