PAYMENTS:

Statements will be mailed to students and tuition fees are due the first lesson of each month. A late payment charge of 1.00% will be added to unpaid balances over 30 days old, and we reserve the right to discontinue the student’s lessons if the tuition is not paid by the due date

We have a $20 registration fee that is required before the start of your first lesson. This is a one time lifetime membership fee that helps to cover administrative costs among other things.  If you’re curious to know more about where your money is going, feel free to click here.

TUITION AND ABSENCE POLICY:

Missed lessons due to student illness, vacation, etc. will not be credited. Your tuition payment reserves your time slot with the instructor each week. Please note: Teachers are not required to offer make-up lessons. Please keep in mind that each student receives 4 free lessons over the course of a year. If a teacher does offer make-up lessons, rescheduling is contingent upon the availability of that teacher. The Education Department does not coordinate make-up lessons. In the case of teacher absences, every effort will be made to provide a qualified substitute and the above policy will apply. In the event a qualified instructor is unavailable and your lesson is canceled, we will make every attempt to contact you and credit your education account.

DISCONTINUING LESSONS:

If you wish to discontinue lessons we require a two-lesson notice to the Education Department Office in advance of your final lesson. Please note: informing your teacher that you are discontinuing does not constitute as the official drop notice. The Education Office must be notified directly. Please call (608) 661-8670. You will be refunded any remaining dollar amount in your education account after applying the two-lesson cancellation notice. In the event the student is absent 2 weeks in a row with no notification to the teacher or office we will make every effort to contact you. If the Education Department is unable to reach the student/guardian by the end of the 3^rd consecutive no-show, we will remove the student from the teacher’s schedule and the time slot will be available to other students.

INDIVIDUAL PRIVATE LESSONS:	GROUP LESSONS (2 or more students)
30 Minutes: Monthly payment - $80 ($20 per lesson) 60 Minutes: Monthly payment - $140 ($35 per lesson)	Monthly payment - $60 ($15 per lesson)
NEW HORIZONS ADULT BAND Monthly payment for Swing Band – $14.00 Monthly payment for Concert Band – $32.50	ADULT PIANO CLASS Monthly payment - $55 ($14 per class)
