This unique & exciting class offers aspiring musicians the chance to be a part of a real rock or pop band! We assemble the groups based upon age and experience and thoroughly coach each band on the real world aspects of musicianship, teamwork, and live performance. This course is hosted by an experienced professional musician who can help each and every participant!

• The course consists of 10 sessions in total. The first session is a placement audition and the last session is a private concert held at Ward-Brodt Music!


• Students are required to partake in a skills and experience exam to allow for proper ensemble placement. Don’t worry, this is done with a positive spin. We do this to help our participants, not to put them down.


• Accepted instruments include but are not limited to: Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Keyboard. Enthusiastic String, Brass, and Woodwind players, or auxiliary percussionists will be encouraged and considered, though will be subject to approval based upon practicality and experience.

• Ensembles will consist of 3 - 6 members, and may vary in size.


• Consistent attendance is highly encouraged. Being that this is a team effort and the groups are kept small, it would be unfortunate for other participants to lose key elements of their ensemble on a regular basis. Please note that your instructor will help to fill any gaps when needed!


• The cost of this course is $299 and includes the placement audition, final concert, and (8) 90 minute ensemble sessions with our professional instructor and ensemble coach Luke Polipnick! To find out more about Luke Polipnick please call the education department or visit our website.
